49. FF07 Service Error

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

49. FF07 service error message. printer down.  none of the buttons are working---menu, etc so can't do auto recovery as it's listed on HP site.  Anyone know how to get around this to get this printer going again?

49. FF07 Service Error

That could be anything from a corupt print job to a blown formatter.   What is the model?

General things:

First thing to try is to turn it off and unplug the network cable.  Next, turn it on while leaving the network cable unplugged.

If it errors with the network cable unplugged, it is an electronics problem within the machine.

If it does not go to an error, plug in the network cable.  If it goes back to an error, clear your print queue and reboot your computer.

If you are using USB, go into the printer settings and uncheck "Let Windows Manage My Printers".  Also, if using USB, you may have had a Windows Security update blocking the drivers.  Completely uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

49. FF07 Service Error

Gary,

Thank you for your response.  It went to ready when unhooked.  I went in and cleared the pirnt jobs, and it ended up working again.  I had tried to print from a webpage.  I believe that was the cause.  I appreciate your assistance.
