There is probably a firmware bug (20190401).
There were 2 errors on startup : a toner reused and.. no paper left in the tray.
It restarted by putting paper. 😅
I spent 2 hours disconnecting wifi, emptying printing queues, moving from one room to another with this heavy printer (because of other's wifi) and did a factory reset.. but check paper left in the tray before !

Follow these troubleshooting steps:
Unplug everything from the printer, wait a couple of minutes and then plug in ONY the power and try to start the printer. If the printer comes to ready, then you know that the printer is ok and that the problem is with a job on your computer. You will need to clear the print queue on the computer, follow these instructions https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware-winpc/how-to-clear-printer-que...
If the printer does not come to ready in stand alone mode then you may have a hardware issue, however that is very rare for this type of error.

Hi,.
May the printer connected wirelessly?
If so, I would also suggest unplugging the power from the router and then restart the printer and check if the error remains, as unplugging any cable deny any wireless connectivity, which may still cause a such as a result of a corrupted print job:

Can you post the exact model number? It is possible that an NVRAM reset might fix your problem but the sequence is different for each model.

Follow the reset instructions in this video, should be the same for your device, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9DfcSnC65k

Unless you have added memory to the formatter that you could remove for testing or if you disconnect the flat cable from the modem to the formatter. Have you tried starting with no cartridges installed?
