49 & 79 errors are often caused by a print job that the printer can't process due to a font or other command inside the job. Usually PDF's or webpage prints are at fault, but could be anything. If you are the only one printing to the printer, go into the printer's print queue on your computer, delete all the pending print jobs, then shut down the printer and restart it. It should power up OK now. If there are others printing to the printer, you'll have to track down all of the pending print jobs on all computers and cancel them all. One of them will show a print job that is in error to print. Avoid printing that job to your printer, but if you really need it, try a different printer. Sometimes updating the printer's firmware to the latest version can help, but is not a guarantee.
Good luck.

Most 49 errors are caused by out dated firmware. ORint a config page and compare the version you have installed with the one listed at support.HP.com and update as required.
