Hello everybody,

since two weeks I have a problem with our color laser printer.

After initialization, the error 59.C0 appears. I have already removed the toner. But the Problem still exists.

The engines start up. It is a "crack" to hear, wich probably caused from the gears of the Dublex reverse-drive unit. After that, the gears are moved in the other direction for about 2 seconds. Until the process abruptly ends with the error message. Have already removed the fuser, unfortunately, the message "fuser is missing" appears before the 59.C0 error.

Does anyone have an idea or assistance ready?
Is more information needed?
Thanks in advance!

Best regards
Sebastian

59 error could be a bad motor or corrisponding supply (i'd guess the .C0 points to cyan).  I'd remove all toner, power cycle the printer and re-install one at a time, closing the access door each time before inserting another.  See if one of the supplies seems to trigger the error.  you can also try a component test if the printer has it in its troubleshooting menu.  Should also note that i've seen transfer belts cause false motor errors as well.

Hi @Sebastian4,

This error is a motor error. The C0 probably refers to the alienation motor. Replacing the alienation motor may resolve your issue. If not maybe there is a damage in your main gear assembly.

I hope this helps,

Hey Apone,

hey Alex-TATS,

thanks for the thoughts.

Alex, would you be so nice to tell me what the alienation motor is. I cant find something know as alienation motor in the manual. If needed, can i order this motor (part-numbre?)?

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I thought it was a newer model. I just took a look at the service manual of it. My bet is on the developer motor M2.

(3) is the developer motor M2(3) is the developer motor M2.

I hope this helps,

Cheers!

So, i exchanged the Motors (M1 with M2). But, unfortunately, with no positiv result.

Then it should be the gear. i only have the Part number for the drum an Dev motors, thanks to the manual.

Do you have the Part number for the gear?
