Error x - An Install Operation took too long execute. This is fatal Error Preventing product use.

Please restart your computer, and run this installer again. if the problem persists, Please check the product support web site for your product. 

 

Even I tried to reinstall the driver in some other machines also but getting the same output(Error) so please tell me how to resolve the issue.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print and getting a fatal error.

 

Don’t worry, we will work together to resolve this issue and It’s a pleasure to assist you in this regard.

 

I would like to know when was the last time the printer was working fine and have you made any changes on your computer?

 

I recommend you to follow below steps to resolve this issue.

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Restart the PC

 

14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

15.) Connect the USB cable ONLY when prompted and follow the on screen instructions.

I have tried all steps listed above, however still getting the error message when installing the driver.

What else can be done?
