Product: Laserjet 500 MFP M525

Hi,

We have a printer that we need to make some chnages to, but the holder of the admin password no longer works here. How do I reset the printer to factory defaults so I can get into the admin settings?

I beleive to reset the admin password you need to perform an NVRAM or COLD reset.

 

Try the steps posted here:

If those dont work we can try to look up a service manual which should confirm the correct steps for that model.
