The amber light on my HP LaserJet 1160 keeps flashing and the printer won't print any document directly from my computer screen. The printer does however print the document when I depress the Go button.
Can anyone help me?

I have now obtained a new toner cartridge and I am pleased to say the amber light has stopped flashing and the printer is working from my computer screen.
Thanks for your help. I will have to remember this lesson when the toner cartridge is empty next time.

Paper size mismatch (size loaded does not match paper required for the print job) or a low toner cartridge will cause that issue.

Thanks for your advice.
I don't think it can be a paper size issue because I can print the document using the Go button. But it might be a low toner cartridge. I will have it checked and replaced in the morning to see if that fixes it

Pressing the go button in case of paper mismatch tells the printer do just use the paper that is loaded so cannot rule that out.
