Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

They just changed the rules for installing personal equipment requiring admin installation rights on company PCs.   I can no longer use my home HP printers.  I just bought an HP "plug and play" 24" monitor with a mini display port adapter for my work laptop that does not require any admin rights to use.  Are there any similar HP printers that can used without needing admin rights???

Hi.

Probably on the maket today we can only find Plug and Pray printers. We've got the same problem with Admin rights, we can't even access to C: or copy anything to USB or using FTP.

My solution: Using HP ePrint printer, I can simply send an email to it with right format attachments and it will print. But I've got another problem: I can't send large files, the system will compress (zip) them and printer won't print. In this case, I print at work (this will cost my department 3 cents / page for B&W and 9 cents/page for colors) or when work from home I send to my home email address and print from my home computers.

Regards.

Thanks.  Sounds like we are in the same situation.  When coinnected for work at home, I also cannot access my C drive or any local printers due to security limitations.  I can print documents from home on my work printers and leave them there until I return (which doesn't seem like good security).
