Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm running Windows 10, 64bit, mix of Home and Pro on a  handful of laptops throughout the house on my home Wi-Fi network.

The printer works fine using the PCL 5 driver, but I don't seem to be able to find any means of selecting the paper (tray) source.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?

Is there a setting I just haven't stumbled on? Or do I have to switch to the PCL 6 driver....or...???

Reason: We use a ton of "discarded" paper that has been previously printed on one side in order to print "rough" or "test" jobs on the back. So we'd like to keep this junk paper in one tray......and NEW (blank both sides) paper in the other tray so that when we know a job is gonna be the "finished product" we can select GOOD paper, not scrap.

I'm not seeing anything other than "automatic" and I think that ALWAYS picks tray 3.

Thoughts? Thanks.

I would try the PCL6 driver, there is no reason you should not see the option for tray 3 but your existing install might be corrupt.

Thanks.

Two quick follow-up questions:

1. Do I have to "delete" the PCL 5 driver somehow, before loading PCL 6? (if so, how?)

2. Can I run different drivers on different computers? (Not sure WHY I would do that; just curious.)
