Automatic duplex print does not happen on M427fdw printer that we purchased recently.

Whenever I print with dual side option checked, printer asks me to manually lift the paper, put it in the tray and press OK for dual side printing.

I want it to do automatically.

It works well when I do copy or scan. The issue is not windows OS dependant.

Hi,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:

Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.
