Hi, I have had the same issue last July 9th when I wanted to print a document via my android phone also to an PWP 477dw MFP.
The only thing that I could do was to push the powe button and wait tfor the printer to reboot itself.
The reboot took longer than usual and once it was started it continued doing some actions which I suppose must have been cleaning actions for the printheads. It went on for a couple of minutes, so I waited patiently and then the printer became silent and I could print again. although I have not yet tried to use the android print function again.
This kind of crash may not happen too often because it seems like pulling the power from the printer with then the recovery process using precious ink.
I do hope that HP is reading in on these message as well because I do not accept this kind of behaviour from a professional line of printers.
