I have noticed that there is abeeping sound from printer whenever it prints, is this normal. Can't remember if this was the case with printer when new.

Are you by chance connecting the power to an uninteruptable backup power supply. If you are that could be the issue. You want the printer connected to the non-battery backup outlets on the device since printers draw do much power and cause these devices to beep.

Thank You Davidzuts, that was the solutionto the beeping sound. Thanks again, great job.

This solution solved the identical problem with my new M402dne. I now realize that the beeping comes from the backup battery and not from the printer itself. When I plugged the printer into the wall socket, the beeping stops! HP tech support by phone did not have me try this solution. Thank you!
