Black roller marks on paper

All print jobs (color or gray-scale) have 4 black ~1/4" wide stripes across each page spaced at about 2-1/4" intervals; appear to be from one of the rollers.

All cartridges have adequate ink (obviously).

Paper preference set to Light 60-74g.

I have re-booted, reset defaults, used a roller cleaner sheet=no change.

This printer is currently totally useless .

Ready for the dump?

Please advise on the fix.

Since black can only come from the black toner cartridge and the colors are not leaving any lines I would think the issue is a defective black toner cartridge. Try a known good black toner cartridge as odds are that is the issue.  It does not matter how much toner is in the cartridge. If the image drum or chargiing roller inside the toner has an issue you will get defects. Both of these (drum and charging roller) can not be repaired and the cartridge needs to be replaced.

I replaced the black toner cartridge, and now the printer is wokring fine.

I have an HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fnw printer that I purchased in 2017.  The black marks started a month ago after i put in a new HP cartridge from Staples.  It worked for about 100 pages but then it started making marks every two inches down the right hand side of the page.  I thought it might be the cartridge so I replaced with a new HP Cartridge and still the same issue.  I have spent more over $350 for toner in the last month and that is more than I paid for the printer new.

This is my tax business printer and it is worthless; I am about to purchase a new (anything but than HP) printer unless I can find a fix for the black marks.  

I called HP and they said the printer it out of warranty and they could not help me.

Did you ever resolve this issue?  I have the M452dn and same issue (ant tracks on right side of page every 7/8"). Depends on the color you are using.
