Today my printer started printing smudged printouts. Is there something for me to clean in my printer or is there a part to be replaced to repair my printer with the following printouts?

Most likely a bad black toner cartridge.

I swapped out the black cartridge with a brand new one and had the same results. Any other ideas?

Might be a bad cartridge contact for the black position on the toner drawer. Remove one of the working colors and the black and compare all the thin shiny cartridge contacts, they should all be the same.
