Recently I am getting constant blinking of ready and attention lights as well as letters HP on starting my HP laserjet M1136 MFP which had previously been working okay. Have tried switching priner off/on, unplugging etc with no effect. Unable to use any functions on the device as a result. Please help with solutions. Thanks.

Hello, @rkvz – Hope you are well 🙂
Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
I see that you are having trouble with your LaserJet printer. Let’s start by performing a power drain on the printer. Here are the steps:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
If the issue persists, then the issue could be with the printer hardware. Since this printer has no reset functions other than the one specified above, I would recommend you contact the HP phone support for further assistance. You can visit http://www.support.hp.com/contact-hp and fill in your product details to get the tech support number.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Cheers 🙂
