Product: HP LASER JET 600 M601
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Can anyone help me slove issue with HP laser jet printer 600 M601 always showing checking hardware. Serching never ends. As discussion forum I have download  firmware and connect through usb port, then restart printer same issue continuing. Pleasem advise what is problem and how to fix this issue.

Before updating the firmware did you format the disk and then reload the firmware from the usb thumb drive. In other words you need to start the printer and when 3 lights come on press the X button which puts you at the pre-boot menu. From there you insert the usb stick with the firmware in the root directory, format the disk and then go back and then load the firmware and when it is finished go back to the continue button and press ok.
