Color LJ Enterprise M553x
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Our CLJ Enterprise M553x suddenly started printing a yellow background on all print jobs including informational pages from the printer. I have changed the toner (all OEM toners) and cleaned the contacts.

Hi @StandardGolf,

I recon that replacing the HVPS-D (High Voltage Power Supply D) would most probably fix this problem.

I hope that helps.

Cheers!

I would also update the FW as well.

THe first thing I did was update the FW.

Thanks all for your replies, I am going to look into replacing the HVPS

Before replacing the high voltage ps, first go to the administration menu, troubleshooting, diagnostics and then choose the item disable cartridge check. Now swap the yellow and cyan toners and send a job to the printer and see if you still have a yellow background or the background is now cyan. If still yellow, I hate to tell you but the toner is at fault. If now cyan then yes the problem could be the high voltage ps or it could be contact points not secure.

I swapped the toners but it won’t print while in troubleshooting. SO I exited and then it shut down
