HP Laserjet CP1525n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This printer has been very reliable for a number of years but now has a problem with colour alignment.

On the Diagnostics page, the right angled lines on the top right are evenly spaced but on the top left they are irregular.

I have tried all the usual advice on this forum (ensure toner cartridges are not empty, run Calibration multiple times, factory reset etc. etc.) but it hasn't got any better.

What else can I do please? I've head about a NVRAM reset - might that help, and if so can someone send me the procedure please?

TIA

Mike

Hi Dvortex

I ran the NVRAM Reset then calibrated a coule of times but I'm sorry to report that it hasn't solved the misalignment issue when printing colour pictures.

Here's a scan of the diagnostics page. Please have a look at the right angle lines in the top left and right corners and tell me if they look wrong. I think they are supposed to be evenly spaced?

Hello, @Mike_D01

The alignment page looks fine to me. How about the print quality when you try to make a print from the PC?

If the print quality is fine, then continue using the printer for few days and then try the alignment again.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you!

Cheers 🙂

Hello Dvortex

OK I used the printer a few more times, ran the calibration routine again and now it seems to be back to normal when printing from the PC.

Thanks for your prompt and helpful replies.
