HP CLJ CP3525dn Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I replaced the  fuser drive gear after getting the 59.F0 error on the control panel. I put everything back together very carefully. The install went very smoothly to my surprise. Now when I start up the printer I get the error  "Close front or right doors." I checked both the right- and front-door interlock switches and they are functioning correctly. J118 on the DC controller is securely connected, as is every other connector. What else can I check? I did the difficult part...now this! Ugh! Thanks for the responses in advance!

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.Just for information some technical information is protected by HP and is not allowed to be answered. This is unfortunate and you will have to contact a HP repair shop for the help in this case.I Would suggest that you redo the whole setup.Remove the fuser unit and replace the fuser again.Make sure that you did not mis out a cable somewhere.Make sure the doors close securely and retry.

Can you check for the cable from right door switch to DC controller? Maybe it got damaged during replacement of fuser drive assy. If you have a multimeter you can measure the voltage on J118 on DC controller it should be 0V and 5 V regarding switch status ON-OFF.

Also if your multimeter has a buzzer test cable from J118 to switches of right and front cover.

No voltage on J118.

Have you checked with a buzzer on your multimeter for functionality of switches on J118?

Hello.  I'm having the exact same issue.  I replaced the Fuser Drive assembly and reassembled the entire unit without incidence.  I powered on the printer and now I'm getting the "Close Front and Right Doors" Error.  I checked the interlock switch and it's working properly.  I also checked the J118 connection is properly seated.  However, I'm still encountering the same issue.  How did you ultimately resolve this issue?
