Hi @Chuck1964,

As I understand you have a question if you can connect the printer to the home network using iPad? No, you will not be able to connect the printer to the home network using your iPad.

Do you have a WPS enabled router? If so, then try to follow these steps here to connect your printer to the home network.

If your wireless router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), this is the simplest way to set up the product on a wireless network.

1. Press the WPS button on your wireless router.

2. Press and hold the Wireless button on the product control panel for two seconds. Release the button when the wireless light starts blinking.

3. Wait up to two minutes while the product establishes a network connection with the wireless router.

NOTE: If this method is not successful, try using the wireless network setup using the USB cable method.

If the router does not support WPS, then the only option left is to connect the printer to the home network using a computer. For more details, please go through the User guide of your printer and then go to the Chapter 4. Connect the Product - Section: Install the product on a Wireless network page number 27

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thank for your help Jeet_Singh. I do not own a MAC computer and all the information refers to connecting to a wireless network using a computer. I would like to connect my HP Laser Jet CP1025nw color printer to a wireless network using a iPad, is it possible or is it only possible by using a computer?
