So basically I work for a retail business and we found an older M401DNE printer and the outlet plug for it, but no other cables. After plugging it in and searching it up, I realized this doesn't have wireless functionality. That being said, when I turned it on and tested it, the printer still prints fine, but without a USB cable can it still be used? If so, how do I enable it?
If not, do I just have to buy a printer USB cable online to make it usable? Also, we would prefer some sort of wireless printer connection. Is there no way that we can print things from our computers through some sort of wireless connection, whether its bluetooth or Wi-fi or something? I'm not fmailiar with this printer so I'm hoping someone can answer my question.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I don't know how did you test the printer without wireless and USB connection. Did you use ethernet connection ?

You can use a CAT5 or above to connect it to your wireless router and you can print wirelessly. The Network-Ready Printer of the following guide shows you how:
