Product: MFP M281fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a MFP M281fdw laser printer.  I ordered a new HP cartridge, I received a 201x cartridge, but there is a 202x cartridge in the machine.  Can I use it, or am I going to have to return it and get a different one?

Nope, M281fdw uses only 202 cartridges.

 

HP 201 cartridges are intended to be used in a different model of the printer.
