That will depend on whether you need MICR printing or if your checks have preprinted magnetic information. If you need MICR printing you should be able to get a cartridge. The other thing is if you need special barcode printing you may need to purchase a font to do that. I realize the answer is a little general but without knowing more specifics about your programs and bank requirements, it is the best I can provide.
