Hi,
I'd like to known if the printer "M177fw " permits to use the scanner from a pc connected via LAN. (starting the scan from the pc or sending the scan from the printer to a network folder)
On the manual I didn't find this information.
Thank you

Hey @mariwf,
Yes, if you have the printer connected to your wireless network, you can scan just the same as you would using a USB connection. You do not have to use the EWS, you can open and use the HP Scan software.

Hey @mariwf, welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you'd like to know if you can start a scan from your computer, or scan from the printer to a network folder. Although scanning to a network folder is not an option for this model, you can use the HP Scan to initiate a scan and save it to your desired location. You might find the information in the following document helpful as it pertains to scanning from your Windows PC: Scanning from the Computer (Windows)
