Having a great conversation with my wife while changing a toner cartridge I realized as I was doing a test print that I pulled the black instead of the yellow. Can I replace the old cartridge back in to my unit? Any precautions I should take with the new, used 1 time, toner cartridge? Thanks

I put the used one back in without any issue. The formerly brand new on is in its original plastic packaging, in the original box, under my desk. I anticipate it will only be a week or so before I need. Printing a LOT of tax return docs. Ugh!It does work

Yes you can swap. If there were any plastic locks or covers you need to install those and then place the cartridge in a light proof bag. Store away from anything high temperature. Note that when you reinstall you may get a used cartridge installed warning, simply press ok to clear that warning.
