Sold surplus CP4525 to a client, assisting with setup. Can't get it to print or install properly. Driver's installed, but machines will not identify printer when USB is connected.

What happens if you remove driver from printer and then connect usb to computer and then use the add printer and have it automatically detect the printer. Does it find the printer. If it does not then there could be an issue with the usb ports as windoes 10 support usb 3.0 and the printer is 2.0 so you may need to find a way to downgrade the computer port to the usb 2.0 level.

I think the issue is with USB connectivity. Unfortunately, they want to use this printer in a location that is remote to their router and don't want to run wire through the house to the router. Do you think that a wireless-ethernet bridge device would enable TCP/IP printing?
