Can't Print Open Tray, check paper guides, and load paper

Error message open tray, check paper guides and load paper. I have done everything I found on the help page. No results.

Are you dealing with a false paper jam error? The pickup rollers in these printers get dirty or worn and refuse to feed paper properly. The roller is at the upper back of the paper tray cavity. It is sometimes easier to access if you remove all the toner cartridges and the paper tray and then gently turn the unit on one side so you have a full view of the bottom of the printer.
