Solved: Can't change default tray - HP Support Community

My printer has suddenly developed a mind of its own. It has unilaterally decided that it wants to print from tray 1, which I never use and it can't be persuaded out of this. Sometimes I can get around this by pressing the button for "all available media", but at other times it presents me only with "cancel", which means nothing gets printed. A bit of a trial.

Make sure that the default media set for the driver and the paper size and type set on the printer itself match. In some cases programming seems to get muddled and performing a factory settings reset resolves the issue.
