Same exact issue as the guy on form post found here.
Printer is plugged directly into wall outlet. Ink cartridges are all there. There is NO paper in the output bin whatsoever. I have 20 sheets of paper in the feeder tray. Constantly getting the error "Jam in output bin. Open rear door and clear jam". There is no paper there and nothing seems to be out of place. Not sure if there's a sensor I can disconnect or what. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reply.
Ben have you try calling hp customer support,
In case your printer is under warranty then they will help you with replacing with another printer, or else they replace the part.

I will try and assist. If you look at the printer where the paper exits the fuser unit.On both sides of that unit is flaps that can move up and down, these are the sensor flags for the output bin.Move them by hand and make sure that they move freely.Sometimes these gets stuck and can cause that error.Hope this will help.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.
