Product: hp laserjet p1102
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp laserjet p1102w. lately i bought a new pc with windows 10 (before I had windows 7). If i try to download the driver from HP website, it doensn't do anything at the end of the installation. If i try to open the SISetup.exe that the printer gives me, it says i have no permission to open that file (but i'm an administrator into my pc). If i try to let windows to auto-detect the printer, it doesn't find it. what should i do?setup1.PNG

Hi,

Unplug the USB from the printer, under Devices and Printers right-click any instance of the printer and select Remove Device if any such is shown.

 

Browse to C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution and double-click HpSetup.exe to launch the installation.

 

Follow the steps on-screen by selecting the P1100w model, only when the installation guide to connect the printer plug the USB back.

 

Allow the installation to complete and check for any difference.
