We just recently started using Google Cloud Print due to our new ERP System and it is printing everything duplex.  I've looked in the printer options as well as the Google options and duplex is set to off everywhere I check.  What am I missing?

The job is being sent from Google Cloud to the printer with the Duplexing flag turned on.  The printer recieves the document and prints it in duplex accordingly.  That means either you are sending the duplex command from your machine, or Google is adding it to the print stream before it hits your printer.

 

To isolate the problem try printing something outside of Google Cloud. Does it duplex?  If not then you know the duplex setting has somethign to do with Google Cloud Print.  Check with them for more ideas.

 

If the duplex setting applies to other connection techniques and applications then it might be in a setting area you are not looking at. 

 

Print settings can be stored in many places:

1. Default print driver settings

2. Applciation print settings

3. Individual document print settings

4. Print Server settings

5. Print control panel/admin settings

 

Review and confirm that duplex is properly disabled in all of these areas to remove the duplex command from your print jobs.  Then try Google Cloud Print again.

I don't believe it's Google as I can send the same document to a different printer and it won't print duplex.  A colleague of mine who had the exact same model m203dw had the same issue and solved it by buying a new printer.  That solved his issue but I'm looking to avoid the additional expense.
