Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I just bought a lacerate Pro M148 MFP. I tried to download the software Readiris Pro 16 for Mac OS X 10.10 but got the 404 error with the message "The requested URL /pub/softlib/readiris/Readiris16ProHPMac.dmg was not found on this server."
I tried HP support but they referred me to a Canon website... funny... Anyone have the correct url or can share with me the file? Thanks, LW

You are correct, in spite of the listing on the Software and Drivers Website for your printer, the "16" version is not available.
Can you use version 15?
@ShlomiL Where is version 16 hiding? Words of wisdom?

Well, while selecting macOS 10.15 I could successfully download IRIS Pro 16 from the product page of the printer:

Actually, missed the operating system version part.
Try installing IRIS OCR using the provided link and check if that may work, however it may fail to work without an official driver, which is not available for 10.10.
If it fails, be aware that the printer is supported on Mac OS X 10.12 or later versions as listed within its specifications, you may need to upgrade your operating system to get full advantage of the HP product:
