HP LaserJet P1102w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product Name: Hp All-in-one AMD A6

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I just replaced my PC with a HP All-in-one which has Windows 10. My P1102w printer has previously worked for years.

I can't install the drivers. I've downloaded the driver (hp_LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-v20120831-50157036_SMO.exe) to my computer.

When I click on it, I get a propmt to give permisson to make changes, and I click on yes.

Then a grey box appears that says extracting with a % and a horizontal bar. When it reaches 100%, the box dissappears, and nothing happens.

Does anyone have any idea why it won't run, and how may I fix this?

Many thanks

Dr.Carmona

Hi,

Open File Explorer (the folder icon on the taskbar) and click on This PC from the left pane, then click on drive C.

Open the LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution folder and double click the HpSetup.exe file, then the setup will launch and you may follow the installation screens.
