LaserJet Pro M477fdw

Hi there,

We have a client who has the M477fdw but when printing images they are coming up dark, significantly darker than on the screen and darker than her old printer used to print for her. I did some testing and was looking for something I could set for her to lighten the prints but I couldn't find anything that would do it for her without affecting other users.

I tried changing the black toner cartridge as I ready that it helped someone else but it didn't really make any noticeable difference.

I ended up going into the printer and into Systems > Print Density and reduced the density for Shadows and Midtones as a temporary workaround but I am concerned other users won't be happy with their print quality.

Can anyone advise a better way to do it.

You will likely need to try different drivers and play with all the image setting. In some cases, different programs will provide better results.
