About a week after initial setup of my Color Laserjet Pro MFP M477fdw I noticed cyan colored dashes about one inch apart running down the left margin on every page. The dashes also appear on consecutive back pages on the right margin when printing Two-Sided jobs.
I also tried to increase the print quality but the slider will not allow adjusting to "Best".
Any thoughts?

Bad drum in the cyan cartridge or something is stuck to the drum. Pull the cartridge and examine the shiny blue drum on the bottom.
