macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hello Looking for a driver to make my color  Laserjet CP 1215 work on Mac Catalina

help would be appreciated   Thank you.

Hi,

the CP1215 is not supported on any Mac computer and never was:

You may try the steps below and see if it may allow you to get some basic print capabilities, it may work and may not, I did personally test it in the past but with much older versions than Catalina, lately I do receive shared feedback about its success to be working on the latest OS versions, but it worth trying:

  1. Download and install below drivers:
    https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US
  2. Power on the printer and connect the cable to your Mac.
  3. Open System Preferences > printers and Scanners.
  4. Click the plus sign and select the listed CP1215 printer.
  5. Within the Use drop-down menu click on Select Printer Software.
  6. Locate the HP Color Laserjet 2600 printer from the list and press Add.
  7. Try printing using the newly added print queue and see if that may work.
