Product: HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdw
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Here's the situation:

- Printer: HP Color Laserjet MFP M477fdw

- new mac mini (m1) with the latest MacOs (Big Sur 11.5.1)

- just downloaded the latest HP smart setup software and installed it (Driver version 3.0)

 

I have a message from office-365 outlook that I would like to print, this message has an image, a barcode, in it

When printing I see the printer queue doing

1) looking for printer

2) connected to printer

3) Waiting for job to complete

4) Cancelling job

5) unable to cancel job

It won't print.

 

When i remove the barcode from the outlook message the printing is just fine.

 

When I cut/paste the barcode image from the outlook messsage into a word document then the document won't print.

 

What is goig on here?
