After receiving an 'involuntary' software upgrade recently, my HP Envy Photo 7855 has stopped printing a color graphic on a saved letterhead template in Pages. When I print in 'plain paper, black and white', it comes out in black and white. When I print in either 'plain paper, best', or "plain paper, draft', the printer leaves out the graphic and prints everything else, including the text that's embedded in the graphic. Anyone experienced this issue, or know the solution?

Your printer is interpereting the image in a different way after the software update.

You can either modify your image so that it works better with the printer, modify the application so it works better with the printer, or perhaps try alternative print drivers to see if they behave better withy our application/image.

Trial and error is needed to solve this one.  See if the problem can be reproduced outside of the Pages applciation by exporting your image to a simple image file like .PNG.  Then try to print it from another image viewer application to isolate the issue to Pages or not.

Thank you for your input! I'm a novice at this, but I'll do my best to try the different solutions you mentioned. I did convert the Pages document into both a PDF file and a Microsoft Word file and tried printing those, but got the same result. Onwards ... If you have any other concrete suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks again.

Check to see if there is a newer driver or full software solution available from HPs support website for your OS and printer model.  Perhaps a newer or different driver will produce better results.
