HP M402n
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

My department uses their HP M402n for a lot of different jobs and uses different letterheads. Sometimes, if they need to print one sheet or one letterhead, they'll use the manual pop-out tray on the front of the printer. When they then print from the computer, the printer asks them to confirm if it's a normal, letter-sized paper. That's the only type of paper we ever use.

The chief complaint is that they always have to hit print on their computer, walk over and hit okay on the printer no matter what they're printing- they just want it to assume it's normal letter paper and print. I've gone into the HP Smart utility, into "System" -> Paper Setup , and set everything to Plain Letter sized paper, but it still asks. It doesn't do this with the automatic trays on the bottom of the printer, just the pop-out tray. Is there any way to make the printer quit asking? I even changed the "Tray Size Prompt" setting to "Off". Is there anything else I can do, or will that pop-out tray always ask for the paper type?

Thanks,

I did some more experimenting and it's not just every job, it's on jobs where the margins are too wide... For example, mailing labels. When I print Avery 5164 labels with Microsoft Word, it throws this error.
