Product: HP LaserJet P3015
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My router is too far away, but wanted to connect this great printer (but old!) to my PC directly using a ethernet cable . There is no USB on the printer just an ethernet port. Can anyone help me. Windows 10 does not see the printer. Anyone help?

If you are going to connect directly with a network cable from the computer to the printer you need to manually set the IP ddress of the printer and the computer to the same subnet. For example
printer IP address 192.168.1.10
computer IP address 192.168.1.20
Set the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0
gateway settings can be blank.
