Printer arrived today.  When powered on, control panel displays screen that begins with "Default Settings."  It will not move off this screen.  Go Back button & Home button do not work.  What to do?

Please perform the following reset on the printer.

With the power on, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.  Wait 10 mins.  Plug the unit back into the wall outlet not using any power strip or surge protector.  Power the unit up if it does not.  Status now?

Do this 3-4 times.  If the same error occurs, your printer needs service.

Thank you!  That worked!

Phew!  I was scared I was gonna have to box it up & ship it back for a replacement.  What a chore that would have been!

I have the M426fdw, so am familiar with the control panel & how it functions.

Appreciate your prompt response, too!
