Product: Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw

Dear All,

 

I recently purchased the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw and I know that it will be in the sleep mode if I am not using it with the flashing light indication. My question is do I need to turn off the printer when I am not using it? Any problem if I leave it in the sleep mode for a long time in terms of potential loss of toner and waste of electricity usage?

Leaving it in Sleep Mode is perfectly acceptable. There is no loss of toner and electrical usage is so minimal it is barely noticeable. There is nothing to be concerned about leaving it in sleep mode. It will just wait until you need to use it.
