Need antone help

Have HP laserjet Colour M880....Cyan Cartridge when installed have clicking sound when removed sound dissapeared

Any assistance, gladly appreciate

Hi Alfred876,

 

I assume by cyan cartridge you mean the cyan drum cartridge and not the toner cartridge.

If you have another cyan drum cartridge try that to see if it is actually the drum that is noisy.

Apart from noise, do you have any other print issues? Does the MFP work alright?

Without the drum and with the drum slot empty the printer does not work, so that's why you don't have that sound.

How do you know that is the cyan drum cartridge that does the noise and not something else?
