Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Printer HP LaserJet 5100tn

Light is flashing printer doesn't print.

Display shows ERROR: 57.1 and then "Cycle Power to Continue"

 

I have reeboted several times to no avail.

Check the fan to see if it is blocked or seized up (remove the right side cover for a better view). If you have been doing any repairs lately, make sure the fan is plugged in. If fan replacement is necessary, the part number is RH7-1552-000CN. Beyond that, you're likely back into the power supply.
