I'd like to disable the embedded web server on all my networked laser printers and use jet admin to manage them all.

Did some googling and didn't find anything so figured I'd ask here.

Ok, likely I have muddied the waters, there may very well be SNMP involved but WebJet Admin requires administration access to the EWS to apply scan to folder templates and other functions, depending on the device of course.

You can password protect them, but I do not believe you can disable completely because the way that Jet Admin works is to automate pushing out settings to the printers. They work hand in hand. Normally you would select a secure password and set that on all the printers and then only you or assigned employees would be able to make changes.

I read jet admin use SNMP to modify printers and doesn't use the web server.  (That article could be wrong though)
