HP Enterprise MFP 527

I am replacing several MFP 527 printers and was wondering if the emmc chips should be formatted/cleared.  Do they contain all of our data?   Will formatting them thru the secure erase procedure be adequate?  Need some advice here. If we sell them, we do not want our data on them.

Thanks

No, the firmware is on it, and the data is encrypted.

Restoring printer to factory defaults from the menu is recommended before the sale. If you format the disk next step is to load firmware on it if you only format the printer will not boot.
