LaserJet 5000

Yes, I know it's out of support. But it's still cranking away. A good work horse. I would like to keep it going.

But it needs maintenance, as it is telling me.

Does anyone have some information?

Are there still kits available?

Maintenance kits are still available from aftermarket sources. I would recommend metrofuser.com, marketpoint.com or partnow.com. All of them offer kits for your printer on advanced exchange, where they send you the kit and you return the used fuser after you have installed the kit. You can find instructions by doing a google search for the service manual on the net and downloading it.
