LaserJet 500 MFP M525

I'm looking at a LaserJet 500 MFP M525, and the supplies status page only shows the toner cartridge and paper feed kit for the ADF. I'm used to LaserJets wanting a maintenance kit, but there seems to be very little about those for this printer. I found listings for the kits (CF116-67903 listed as 200k pages) but nothing about them needing to be replaced on a regular basis.

Does this printer shift from recommending replacement (with warnings, etc) to needing replacement only if problems develop? I don't want to get a printer with 190k pages on it and find that I need a maintenance kit in a few months.

The printer will not inform you or recommend to replace maintenance kit, M525 doesn't have that option. Only if any problem develops you can replace fuser or more often paper pickup roller(s).
I have seen M525 that has printed more than 500k pages with the first fuser, but also I have seen fusers on M525 get bad under 150k. I beleive that a quality paper, toner and well educated user is the main reason why some printers last longer.
