HP Smart App does not even give an option for duplex printing on the HP P1102W for me..., but will print duplex on other printers I have with duplex options.

@Capic, thank you for the response.

According to the printer specifications, this printer does not support auto-duplexing. Click here to check the printer specifications. You may do manual duplex printing on this printer from your Win PC. Kindly refer to this document to know how.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

It has always been manual duplexing - but it does not work through Windows 10 (it used to work through Windows 7,and still works if connected via a USB)... that's my problem!

It only works though Windows 10 if you:

Reverse the order of all pages (not ideal if you're trying to print a 150 page document - I struggle with this).

Spin the whole pack by 180 degrees before reinserting (I can cope with this)

@Capic

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this, they should be able to help.

Thanks!

The way to get manual duplex printing to work on Windows 10 is to install the printer by connecting to the printer's web admin page and using the HP Smart Install feature.

Using a browser, connect to the printer on it's IP address by putting the IP address into the browser menu bar and hitting enter.

Then select the HP Smart Install tab and follow the prompts.
