Durable duplex printer for 4x6 cards

I am looking for a durable printer that wil print 4x6 cards in duplex.  This can be auto duplex or manual.  I have tested numerous cheap Canon inkject printers but they don't last.  Volume of printing is around 200 cards a day.  I am open to laser or inkjet solution.

I think the key is a word you used in your post.

And the word is cheap, cheap is usually not durable.

If you need color I check the specs on the Officejet Pro Series like the X476 for example.

For black and white check the specs on the LaserJet M600 series.

For any machine you are going to do a lot of printing on either pay for it with a credit card that doubles your manufacturer's warranty, or buy an HP Care Pack.

We have run into a couple of cases where high-volume users have worn out an X476 or X576 in about a year-and-a-half and had they bought the multi-year Care Pack they would have had a free replacement.

I have mentioned the MFP versions of those machines but there are also single function models, that just means print only instead of print scan copy et cetera.

Thanks for the feedback - the key for me is the ability to print duplex 4x6 cards.  I assume with laser my costs on ink would be less than with inkjet.  I will check out your recommendations and run a few tests.

I was not able to located the x476 or x576 at my local Office Depot - I tried the laser jet pro m452dn.  It worked okay but but the duplexing was a little complicated.  Are you famialir with this printer?

On the x576 it has a lot of features I do not need, like scanning.  Is there a duplex printer the will prting 4x6 card stock postcards in duplex either manual or automatic that you can recommend?  I estimate 200 cards a day.
